Frequently asked questions

The things dog parents ask us most — answered before you even have to ask.

Do I need to be home during the appointment?

For the first visit, yes — we like to meet you and your pup in person and make sure everyone is comfortable. After that, many clients let us in and go about their day; we just need access to your pup and a place to park the van.

How long does a groom take?

It depends on the service and your pup's size and coat. A bath and blowout usually takes 45–60 minutes, a full groom about 1½–2 hours, and a nail trim 15–20 minutes. We'll give you a good estimate when you book.

Which areas do you serve?

We come to you across the Bay Area. Not sure if your address is covered? Text or call us and we'll confirm right away.

My dog is anxious (or elderly). Is that okay?

Absolutely — it's exactly why we're mobile. One-on-one attention, no barking dogs next door, no cage dryers and no car rides. Tell us about your pup beforehand and we'll take it slow and gentle.

Do you need my dog's vaccination records?

We ask that all pups are up to date on rabies (as required by law). You can let us know your pup's vaccine status when you fill out the new client form — no paperwork needed for a first chat.

What products do you use?

Gentle, professional-grade shampoos and conditioners suited to your dog's coat and skin. If your pup has allergies or sensitive skin, let us know and we'll adjust — you can even hand us your own shampoo.

How do I pay?

Payment is simple and happens at the end of the appointment, once your pup looks (and smells) amazing. We'll go over payment options when we confirm your booking.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Life happens — and so do zoomies. Please text or call us as early as possible. Your change is complete once we confirm it; late changes or missed visits may be subject to a fee under our cancellation policy.

Do you need water or electricity from my home?

Our mobile salon is designed to arrive fully equipped. We will confirm any access or parking needs with you before the first visit.

Do you groom cats or dogs with a history of aggression?

Our current services are designed for dogs. Please tell us about any bite history or handling concerns before booking so we can decide whether we can provide a safe visit.

What happens if my dog's coat is matted?

Comfort and safety come first. We will assess the coat, explain the safest options and discuss any added time or cost before proceeding.
